Camp 5 is a place of prophetic prayer and sacrifice which reinvokes the ultimate loving kindness God showed the world with the sacrifice of Jesus. If it wasn't for Jesus, you'd have to visit with your sacrificial animal for prayer.

We host our visitors with free housing to support long spiritual missions, and we allow extended long stays to intervene with the homelessness often caused by economic hardship. This way, we help distressed people reduce their anxiety and buy time to plan their next step in life.

1. Electricity

GHS 9,080 is the monthly cost of maintaining electricity including a GHS 470 petrol 4 times a week, a GHS 380 engine oil (Total 10W40) 2 times a month, a GHS 400 mechanic visit, and a GHS 400 electrician visit.
GHS 20,700 will buy a 48v 100Ah Lithium-Ion battery capable of supplying the camp 1 day of electricity in our much needed battery unit of our solar system of 6 pieces of 48v 100Ah Lithium-Ion batteries, 54 PV panels of 85% efficiency, and approximately 17, 000 kWh of electricity generated daily.

3. Housing & Water Works

GHS 20,916 is the projected monthly cost of maintaining clean and safe rooms, ensuring access to clean and hygienic rain water and spring water, maintaining polytanks and concrete tanks that collect rain water, installing and maintaining water collection tanks for the 20 houses at the camp. It's one of our biggest challenges.

5. Pest Control & Forest Protection

GHS 1,975 is the projected monthly cost of maintaining an environment free of wildlife pests and prevention of overgrown bushes & weeds including supplies like knapsack sprayers, weedicides, antisnake repellents, fire extinguishers, and antivenom for farm and forest workers.
